About the Role

As a Saturday-only Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) at Eyas Landing, you will provide occupational therapy to children and families in our clinic, clients' schools and homes. You'll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence through:

  • Providing individualized therapy
  • Implementing client-centered therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration
  • Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
  • Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Compensation

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $35-40/hour

Schedule & Location

  • Dates: April 4th through June 27th
  • Schedule: Saturdays 9:00am - 2:30pm
    • Providers must work the full shift 9:00am-2:30pm (unless first or last session canceled, can also clock out if client canceled)
    • Providers must commit to the full 3-month period. If they have more than 3 of 12 absences, they may not be considered for future opportunities
  • Location: 1409 W. Carroll Ave. Chicago, IL
