 recommends My son has attended EYAS Landing and previously Bluebird preschool for seven years.  I have interviewed and visited dozens of public and private schools and therapeutic clinics in Chicago over the years, and I am confident that my son is getting the highest quality education and treatment at EYAS and Merlin.  When everything shut down due to Covid we had a dedicated team available to us with a plan and support within a matter of days.  They worked with us to continue to modify our plan as things progressed throughout the pandemic with virtual support and a superb, dedicated in home therapist.  

Jenny S and Krickett are miracle workers in scheduling and always found solutions for our family.  The professionals at EYAS are phenomenal.  We are incredibly lucky and grateful to my sons amazing team, including Elizabeth M, Julie B, Erin B, Jennifer M, Jennifer F, Stephen B, Nicole R, Kathryn M, Julian S, Natalie M, Nathan B, Makenna M, Rhonda W, Gabriel G, Keaira D, Alexandra M, Sophia M and the extraordinary leadership of Brianna P, Kate S and Leah D.  recommends I can't say enough good things about Kelly Canavan.   She has been a blessing on our son's team!  Kelly is THE EXPERT when it comes to communication devices!  She was actually referred to us by the Saltillo's sales rep as the best person to train us on AAC.  Kelly has a way to teach our son vocabulary that nobody else matches.  Each session with her expands his understanding and vocabulary.   Not to mention that she has a PHD.  She is and incredible person and a joy to be around!
Also if looking for an OT, Heather Fite is fantastic!  She has a variety of techniques to help our son regulate his body.  She loves giving us tips to help us understand him better so we can assist him adequately.

 recommends Eyas Landing is amazing. One of our twin boys needed help with his motor skills. Dr. Jessica T would come to our house every week to work with him. She is incredible. She always showed up on time, worked the full hour with him, always brought different things for him to try, reached out to us with suggestions even after appointments, and gave my wife updates after each session since she could not be there for them.  recommends After transitioning out of EI, I went in search of *the best* clinic for my daughter. I found Eyas on a random Yelp review, and decided to try them out. It might be the best decision I have ever made for my daughter. We were paired with an amazing speech therapist, who not only helped my daughter's communication, but helped us navigate the process of getting an autism diagnosis, and then connected us with their sister company, Blue Bird Day for preschool & Kindergarten. So we've been with Eyas/Blue Bird Day for over 4 years, with only a slight break as we transitioned to public school. It sounds disingenuous to say that we have loved every therapist, teacher, aide and receptionist at Eyas Landing, but it's true. All of the therapists have built great relationships with my daughter and have been very aware of her needs and how to help her progress. Their communication with me about her progress and the way they listen to every concern I have helps me feel very involved in the process so I can help her at home and school. My daughter has literally spent thousands of hours at Eyas Landing/Blue Bird Day, and the progress she has made during her time there has been remarkable. My daughter spent the whole summer doing camp there this last year, and upon returning to school in the fall, the teachers and administration all commented on how much her speech and behavior had improved. Her special ed teacher told me "Whatever you did with her over the summer, totally worked!" I cannot say enough good about Eyas Landing and highly recommend their services.

 recommends Eyas is the best clinic for special needs - especially Autism - in Chicago if not in the U.S.! They have been a blessing for my ASD daughter and our whole family! No words can describe how positive an experience it has been for us all since we started at Eyas in 2014!
