Sensory Integration and Practical Implementation in Treatment Sessions CEU

April 22 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join Lauren Abry (OTD, OTR/L) and Heather Fite (MS, OTR/L) for a CEU. We will dig deeper into sensory processing, learn how dysregulation presents throughout the senses, and utilize strategies to increase regulation and participation during daily activities. EMOTIONS DETECTIVES CAMP

June 28 - July 2

Our Emotions Detectives Camp helps children become more aware of their emotions and impulses by utilizing the Zones of Regulation curriculum. The camp focuses on improving their ability to problem solve conflicts more independently, practicing reading facial expressions, and building vocabulary around emotional regulation. SOCIAL SKILLS CAMP

July 6 - July 9

Social skills may not come easily for some children. During Social Skills Camp, children learn pragmatic skills using the We Thinkers! Curriculum (ages 4-6) and the Superflex Curriculum (ages 7-10). Activities focus on body awareness related to social interactions, turn taking, sharing, understanding someone else’s perspective, and flexible thinking through organized lessons and games. Our Sensory Explorers participate in activities that explore their sensory systems: touching textures, dancing and obstacle courses for moving their bodies, and choosing music to fit their body’s needs. Activities are both structured and unstructured to meet each child’s needs, with a primary focus of play-based learning. Ages: 4 – 11 years old Register Here.
