About the Role
As a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) at Eyas Landing, you will provide physical therapy to children and families during our therapeutic summer camp. You'll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through:
- Providing individualized therapy and facilitating small group sessions for our therapeutic Summer Camp
- Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
- Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
Compensation
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $38-41
Schedule & Location
- Schedule: Part-Time; 10-15 hours/week
- Summer Camp Dates: July 6th - July 31st
- Location: 1409 W. Carroll Ave., Chicago, IL
