ABA Therapy for Autism in Chicago:
Flexible, Family-Centered Care
Applied Behavior Analysis
What is ABA Therapy?
If you are reading this, you are likely navigating a complex journey. You might be worried about your child’s communication, struggling with challenging behaviors at home, or feeling overwhelmed by the maze of therapy options in Chicago.
At Eyas Landing, we want you to know: You are not alone, and we are here to meet you exactly where you are.
Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program is designed to be more than just a service—it’s a partnership. We move beyond rigid tables and charts to create a flexible, supportive environment where your child can learn, grow, and thrive in the real world.
Helping Your Child Find Their Voice and Reach New Milestones
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a gold-standard, evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism and other developmental delays learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
Think of it as a way of breaking down big, complicated tasks into small, manageable steps. By using positive reinforcement—like praise, high-fives, or access to a favorite toy—we encourage behaviors that help your child succeed while gently guiding them away from behaviors that might be holding them back.
Our Approach: It’s Not One-Size-Fits-All
At Eyas Landing, we don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” therapy. Every child is unique, with their own sparkle, interests, and needs.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work closely with your family to design a custom treatment plan. Whether your goal is for your child to communicate their needs, play safely with siblings, or transition smoothly from home to school, we build a roadmap to get there together.
Why Choose Eyas Landing for ABA Therapy in Chicago?
We understand that you have choices for pediatric therapy in Chicago. Here is why families in the West Loop and beyond trust Eyas Landing with their child’s development.
1. Flexibility is Our Foundation
Life doesn’t happen in a clinic room, so therapy shouldn’t be stuck there either. We meet families where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and physically. We offer ABA therapy in the setting that makes the most sense for your child’s learning style:
- In-Home: Learning daily routines where they actually happen.
- In-Clinic: At our state-of-the-art facility in Chicago’s West Loop.
- In-School: Supporting academic and social success in the classroom.
- Telehealth: bringing expert guidance directly to your screen when needed.
2. A Multi-Disciplinary Team Under One Roof
Your child is a whole person, not just a set of behaviors. Our ABA therapists collaborate daily with our on-staff Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Social Workers. This holistic approach ensures that if a behavior is caused by a sensory sensitivity or a communication gap, we have the experts right here to address the root cause, not just the symptom.
3. Family-Centered Coaching
You are the expert on your child. We are the experts in therapy. Together, we are an unstoppable team. We don’t just work with your child; we coach you, too. We provide parents with the tools and strategies to continue progress at home, reducing family stress and empowering you to handle difficult moments with confidence.
4. Real-World Skills for Real Life
We focus on skills that matter. While table-time learning has its place, we prioritize “natural environment teaching.” This means we practice social skills during play, feeding skills during snack time, and communication skills when your child actually wants to ask for something. This helps ensure the skills they learn with us transfer to the playground, the grocery store, and grandma’s house.
The Benefits of Our ABA Program
When you partner with Eyas Landing, you are investing in a brighter future for your child. Our personalized ABA therapy can help improve:
- Communication: From using first words to holding conversations.
- Social Skills: Making friends, sharing, and understanding social cues.
- Daily Living Skills: Potty training, dressing, and eating independently.
- School Readiness: Following instructions, sitting for circle time, and transitioning between activities.
- Behavior Management: Reducing meltdowns, aggression, or self-injury by teaching safer, more effective ways to get needs met.
ABA Therapy is evidence-based and effective, especially when combined with Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy. Click below to learn more.
What Parents Are Saying
“Before Eyas Landing, we felt lost. Our son was frustrated because he couldn’t tell us what he wanted. The ABA team didn’t just teach him to speak; they taught us how to listen. Now, he’s thriving in school and playing with his sister. We finally have hope again.”
— Sarah M., Chicago Parent
“I loved that they didn’t force my daughter into a box. They let her be herself while helping her learn. The collaboration between her speech therapist and ABA therapist was seamless. It felt like everyone was on the same team.”
— James T., West Loop Parent
