Occupational Therapy is the professional practice of helping people achieve independence and the ability to participate in everyday living skills. It can cross into several areas of practice, including pediatrics, mental health, rehabilitation, and industry. An occupation can be defined by how one occupies their time.

For children, a big part of their occupation is play! This means that Occupational Therapy is not simply about regaining a vocational talent, but the ability to navigate one’s world independently and functionally. The goals of Occupational Therapy are to help clients develop, recover or improve skills necessary to succeed in their most natural environment.

As a pediatric and client-centered practice, Eyas Landing aims to help clients adapt to their environment by teaching skills, modifying tasks, creating sequences and building confidence. Therapy can take place in the home or at our state of the art facility.
