My Story
Post-graduation, I plan to attend the University of Chicago for a Masters of Social Work in Fall 2024. I am currently taking a gap year to get more experience in the field of clinical social work, so this position is a great opportunity to expose me to a wide variety of therapy domains and professionals. My goals as a therapeutic assistant are to learn more about the progression of a client’s strengths and weaknesses, and to especially build a mentorship and learn from the social workers on site.
My Professional Goals
- I hope to build my knowledge of clinical social work and learn how social workers can provide services alongside other therapeutic professionals.
My Advocacy
I am a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and equality. My minor, Black Women Studies, really exemplifies my academic and professional interests. I enjoy providing services for underserved populations and communities, and hope to assist in providing resources equally among all races, ethnicities, and cultural groups. I always want to learn more and have discussions about black academia, women of color, and injustices in our society.

Eyas Landing is a therapy clinic with a mission to provide evidence-based and family-centered therapy services for children, adolescents, and their families. The primary goal is to deliver relationship-based interventions within the most natural environments and to empower families to reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, our highly educated, compassionate staff dedicates time and expertise to create experiences that maximize therapeutic outcomes. The strength, determination, and perseverance of our clients are evident as they succeed in therapy, and ultimately in their daily lives.
Eyas Landing offers a wide range of comprehensive services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Social Work, Family Therapy, and Neuropsych testing. Services are provided throughout the Chicagoland area via Telehealth, In-Home, and in our state of the art clinic.
