My Professional Goals

I want to obtain my LSW and eventually my LCSW. Then, years in the future, create a social work space for children diagnosed with Autism.

My Story

I transferred to the college of applied health sciences during my sophomore year of college. Here, I began working closely with occupational therapists and physical therapists at clinics and hospitals around Chicago. Working with numerous clinicians and backgrounds, I found I most connected with social work. Thus, I began my Master’s in school social work during the Covid-19 pandemic. I have interned at Thresholds, a community mental health and substance use service in Illinois, and also Chicago Public Schools. I have learned from leaders in the field along with clients I have worked with. I am excited to begin social work at Eyas and contribute to an already amazing team!
