Education
My Story
Since I was young I knew I wanted to become a teacher. In my elementary and high school career, I found myself becoming friends and wanting to support students within the special education programs. In school, I would volunteer in special education rooms during my free time. After school, I would work with Gen Ed students in my park district’s after school and summer programs. I love being around kids and the energy and individuality they each bring.
My Professional Goals
My future goals would be to gather as much knowledge from different populations of students. From there, I would love to open up a student/parent advocacy company that helps students and their parents navigate the public school system and IEPs. Art is another one of my passions, and I would love to open a fully inclusive art studio that also has a store front for participants to sell their work.

This is my first time/experience with the company. From the mission statements and observations at Merlin Day Academy, I quickly saw that our professional standards and principals are aligned.
My Advocacy
In the last 4 years, the majority of my time and advocacy was spent supporting my high needs students in and outside of the classroom. I am hoping that with this new shift in careers that I will be able to support more communities.

Eyas Landing offers a wide range of comprehensive services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Social Work, Family Therapy, and Neuropsych testing. Services are provided throughout the Chicagoland area via Telehealth, In-Home, and in our state of the art clinic.
