My Professional Goals

  • My goal is to become Early Intervention Certified so that I can better support the community and provide interventions and support to children ages 0-3 and their families within this setting.
  • I received my clinical doctorate in occupational therapy to increase my leadership and educational knowledge in order to teach within OT programs, to mentor OT fieldwork students and to continue with program development to meet the needs of the community.

My Story

I knew I wanted to become an occupational therapist since I was 10 years old. I grew up next-door to a boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and I got to see first-hand the remarkable work OTs do in increasing participation and performance for children and their families. I furthered my interest by shadowing OTs throughout high school and college and fell even more in love with the profession. I love the creativity and holistic lens of the profession. I am so excited to begin my career as an occupational therapist in my dream setting, working with children with ASD.

My Eyas Landing

I completed my 14 week doctoral internship at Eyas Landing with a focus on program development, leadership, and advanced clinical practice within sensory integration. I am so excited to re-join the team as an Occupational Therapist and continue to grow and learn.
