My Story
I believe in the power of movement to soothe the body and mind. This is what led me to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. After spending 20 years as a High School Math Teacher, I craved a way to educate others on ways to improve their quality of life through movement. My experiences as a teacher, yogi, jogger and lover of the outdoors taught me that when we feel comfortable, safe and confident in our own bodies, our interactions within the world are improved. As a PTA at Eyas Landing, I hope I can help others to build improved motor control, movement patterns, balance and coordination that will improve their ability to interact with their world with greater ease.
My Professional Goals
My goal is to continue learning to ensure the best possible outcomes with improved motor planning, balance and coordination through play and fun physical activities with all children. I will continue to pursue additional training, workshops and certifications to accomplish this goal.

Eyas Landing is a therapy clinic with a mission to provide evidence-based and family-centered therapy services for children, adolescents, and their families. The primary goal is to deliver relationship-based interventions within the most natural environments and to empower families to reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, our highly educated, compassionate staff dedicates time and expertise to create experiences that maximize therapeutic outcomes. The strength, determination, and perseverance of our clients are evident as they succeed in therapy, and ultimately in their daily lives.
Eyas Landing offers a wide range of comprehensive services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Social Work, Family Therapy, and Neuropsych testing. Services are provided throughout the Chicagoland area via Telehealth, In-Home, and in our state of the art clinic.
