Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.My first part-time job was working at a daycare. Instantly, I knew that working with children and their families was my passion. I took various roles working as a daycare provider, substitute teacher, respite care, and vocational care worker. As I decided on a college, I researched different career paths that allowed me to be creative and still work with children. When I shadowed an occupational therapist at a therapeutic preschool, I instantly fell in love and haven’t turned back since.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?Graduating with my Masters Degree in occupational therapy!
What do you love most about working at Eyas Landing?Who doesn’t love a job where they get to play all day? I love to see each child I work with explore, be creative, and grow with a little guidance. That big smile at the end of a therapy session or when a child surprises themselves with their progress makes my day.
