Howard, B. S., Kern, C., Milliner, O., Newhart, L., & Burke, S. K. (2020). Comparing moral reasoning across graduate occupational and physical therapy students and practitioners. Journal of Occupational Therapy Education, 4 (3).
Beginning at a young age, I had the pleasure of spending summers alongside a family member with autism. Each summer, I gained a greater understanding of sensory processing, as well as increased knowledge of adapting/modifying activities and environments to assist in improving overall function. My occupational therapy journey began primarily because of my cousin and the wonderful summers we spent together. Throughout my occupational therapy practice, I seek to promote fun, engaging, and holistic therapy personalized to each client. It is an absolute joy to witness successes of children and families!
My professional goal is to further my knowledge of evidenced-based practice through advanced certifications.
