My Story

I was born and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles, California to a rather large family who has always described me as the “passion project”. Since before I can remember, I have had this deep-rooted, undeniable passion for supporting children with developmental disabilities. This began in my early childhood and through my adolescence; at quite a young age, I prided myself in knowing my calling and chasing my dreams. During my four years at the University of Colorado Boulder, I spent three and a half years interning for an outpatient rehabilitation center for both children and adults with developmental disabilities. It was an incredible opportunity and was ultimately the catalyst to my interest in Applied Behavioral Analysis. After finishing my undergrad, I moved home for a year and worked at an outpatient pediatric clinic as an RBT. I decided to fly the nest in September of 2019 when I then moved to Chicago and started working at Eyas Landing. Since then, I have been working towards completing my Master’s degree in ABA and look forward to growing and perfecting my craft in the many years to come.

My Eyas Landing

Working at a multi-disciplinary clinic has been one of the most humbling and amazing experiences I have ever had. Being able to learn and grow alongside my colleagues is simply the gift that keeps on giving. I learn new techniques, strategies, and clinical concepts that I would have otherwise not been exposed to. For that, I am forever grateful.

My Professional Goals

  1. I am currently working towards obtaining my Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Arizona State University. I plan to sit for my board’s exam in July 2021 and perfect my craft as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst. After that, I plan to go for my Ph.D.but as the wise, old saying goes, “one step at a time”.
