Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.
Throughout high school and college, I worked in therapeutic recreation where I had the pleasure of interacting with children and adults with a variety of abilities. This work inspired me to become an Occupational Therapist so that I could continue to help all individuals live life to the fullest.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment so far has been becoming an Occupational Therapist! This has been my dream for the last 10 years and I am so excited to be in a career that allows me to do what I love every day!
What do you love most about working at Eyas Landing?
The work culture and coworkers at Eyas Landing are amazing! Everyone is so collaborative and this helps us provide the most supportive interventions to the children that we serve.
How has the supervision at Eyas Landing supported your professional growth?
The staff at Eyas Landing take the time to support the professional growth of all individuals. They are always available to problem solve through challenging situations and provide their knowledge/insight.
Is there anything else you’d like to add about yourself?
I am passionate about working with both children and their families. Families play a crucial part in providing occupational therapy services, especially when working with children, and they provide invaluable insight into the lives of the children we serve!
