My Story

I became interested in occupational therapy at the very young age of 14 when my great uncle had to receive services after experiencing multiple strokes. I was able to see the effects that occupational therapy had not only had on my uncle’s life but on that of those around him as well. I had always been interested in working within the pediatric field and found my niche while in undergrad, working with children with special needs. I quickly recognized the influence that occupational therapy had on children in their social, emotional, and physical well-being and knew that was the career path for me.

My Eyas Landing

Being able to see the children flourish and the families prosper through the collaboration and efforts of the team mentality that Eyas Landing has is the biggest reason I love working at Eyas Landing. The passion, dedication, and continued efforts of all team members are very inspiring and motivational.

My Professional Goals

  1. My goal is to finish my doctorate in the spring of 2021, become an adjunct professor at a university, and continue to work as a clinical therapist within the pediatric field.
  2. My goal is to create a curriculum designed to educate caregivers on how to help their children cope with the effects of anxiety on their everyday lives by utilizing evidenced-based, sensory-motor interventions

Eyas Landing is a therapy clinic with a mission to provide evidence-based and family-centered therapy services for children, adolescents, and their families. The primary goal is to deliver relationship-based interventions within the most natural environments and to empower families to reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, our highly educated, compassionate staff dedicates time and expertise to create experiences that maximize therapeutic outcomes. The strength, determination, and perseverance of our clients are evident as they succeed in therapy, and ultimately in their daily lives.

Eyas Landing offers a wide range of comprehensive services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Social Work, Family Therapy, and Neuropsych testing. Services are provided throughout the Chicagoland area via Telehealth, In-Home, and in our state of the art clinic.
