Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.
I became interested in occupational therapy at the very young age of 14, when my great uncle had to receive treatment after having multiple strokes. I had been able to see the effects that occupational therapy had not only had on my uncle’s life, but on that of those around him as well. I had always been interested in working within the pediatric field and found my niche while in undergrad working with children with special needs. I quickly recognized the influence that occupational therapy had on children in their social, emotional, and physical well-being and new that was the career path for me.
