Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with kids with special needs. I realized I wanted to become an occupational therapist after working at a camp for children with autism that focused on participation. After that summer, I applied to OT school and haven’t looked back!
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?Continuing to grow Eyas Landing, including servicing a range of clients in different settings and supporting therapists meet their professional goals.
What do you love most about working at Eyas Landing?I love seeing our clients, both kids and families, make progress to their own goals. Also, our therapists are incredibly motivated to better their practice, and I love being able to support their learning and growth.
How has the supervision at Eyas Landing supported your professional growth?I’ve learned the most about my therapeutic use of self from my supervision. This has allowed me to grow as a leader.
