Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.
During an internship at an Occupational Therapy clinic I was privileged with working in a teen social group. It was here that I was able to be a part of treatment and see first hand the importance and benefits of strong client-therapist relationships where these teens were treated as individuals learning to navigate the world, land their first part-time jobs, and develop friendships. Seeing how the clients trusted their providers and were so involved in each session–motivated to learn and participate—was a truly inspiring experience for someone just entering the field.
