Name the moment that inspired you to take your career path.I grew up with a brother who was diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADHD, and other unspecified learning disabilities. My other brother was also diagnosed with ADHD as well as Borderline Personality Disorder, depression and anxiety. I do what I do because I watched them both navigate and survive life and schooling through the help of incredibly supportive, qualified, and understanding therapists and teachers. They provided my brothers with opportunities for success and equipped them with the tools they needed. I just knew that I wanted to be that person for someone else.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? After receiving a certification in Social Emotional Learning and Character Development, I used what I learned to create, design, and write a social-emotional curriculum for kinder age students to practice key relationship skills after school. This program, Social Explorers, ultimately turned into a part-time program serving over 25 students ages pre-k to third grade.
What do you love most about working at Eyas Landing?THE KIDS!!!
