My experience began when I was working as a nursing assistant for adults with traumatic brain injuries. I watched and helped the therapists around me teach others how to walk, talk, eat, and learn how to communicate again. They helped people regain like skills or teach new ways of becoming independent. I was in undergrad at the time studying education and taught middle school for a few years after that. I loved teaching, but felt like there was something missing in my life. I went back to school for my masters degree in ABA and returned to working with adults with disabilities. I wanted to truly make a difference and help people learn to become as independent as possible. I love working with individuals of all ages in helping them to achieve whatever their goals are.
